There are several music classes available for parents to attend with their children. What makes Music with Mar. different? Whereas some music classes focus on teaching to the little musician, Music with Mar. focuses on teaching to the whole child through music. The child's music abilities can be built along with their motor, social and basic skills. A good music foundation, as well as an all around good academic foundation, is laid through the use of well thought out lyrics and movements.

The mission of the Music with Mar. program is to get more parents involved with their children in positive activities while using music to prepare them for the future!

Music with Mar. was started in Pinellas County, FL in 1992 and has grown into a nationally known and respected program. The founder, Maryann "Mar." Harman, speaks around the country on brain research and using music to implement it. She is also an adjunct professor at USF. Parent supervised play for spontaneous thinking, social awareness, listening, sharing and emotional processing. Our Play Center is full of age appropriate toys for active and imaginative play that will stimulate and delight your children while they learn social interaction with other children their age.

Join us for circle time, story telling, imaginative play, games, occasional crafts and more.
Our Play School activities are social-movement and interaction activities, structured to be age appropriate for toddlers and preschoolers. They encourage body and space awareness as well as interactive skills. Play school playgroups will allow children to engage in activities where they are faced with sharing, playing together in a social setting, and decision making through use of structured crafts and games. At the close of class, we bring out the parachute, blow bubbles and give hand stamps!

Art projects for sensory integration, exploration, and fine motor coordination. Art class includes story time, art craft, parachute, bubbles & hand stamps.

Dress for mess and artistic success! Young children are free to smear and otherwise explore the sensory and creative possibilities of paints. Get ready for a messy good time! Freestyle painting projects for sensory integration, exploration, and fine motor coordination. Each week we will try a different painting medium from water colors, tempura, finger painting & more.

Creative fun with homemade scented playdough -- squishing, molding, sculpting, cutting, rolling! These activities encourage children's social interaction, enhance creativity and develop fine motor skills.
